Culloden Battlefield

Culloden was a short but bloody battle and the last to be fought on British soil, dividing families and setting clan against clan. Stand where the fighting took place and feel the emotion of this brutal battle – where over 1,200 soldiers died in just one hour.

The Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre and exhibition allows the whole Culloden story to be told in an innovative and interactive way which appeals to all the family.

Listen to accounts from genuine characters who were involved in the Battle, appreciate the true scale of events on the Moor from the rooftop viewing area and put yourself in the heart of the action at the Battle immersion theatre
