Williamson Tunnels Heritage Centre

In the early 19th century, under Liverpool's Edge Hill area, a mysterious tunnel network was created by philanthropist Joseph Williamson.

Take a 40 minute guided tour through the reopened excavated section of the tunnels. Learn about Williamson's motives for their construction and the lives of hundreds of workers employed by one of Liverpool's most eccentric characters.
