Taking the train

The trip from London Euston (EUS) to Liverpool Lime Street (LIV) is roughly 2.5 hours. Intercity services run from major towns and cities into Liverpool Lime Street Station. After taking the train to Liverpool, your first destination of interest will likely be St Georges Hall as it’s the first building you’ll see. It’s widely regarded as the finest neo -classical building in Europe, where Charles Dickens was a regular visitor, and represents the prosperity in Liverpool in the 19th century.
