All visits to Liverpool are worth starting at the Liverpool Pier to see the iconic Liver birds and clock towers. From here you can take a cruise down the Mersey or all the way to Manchester.

Music lovers will revel in the Beatles Story museum and a visit to the Cavern Club to experience the music scene.
 
Sport
Sport lovers have lots on offer from horse racing at Aintree to Liverpool's two Premiership football teams Liverpool FC and Everton.
 
Art
There is much for the appreciator of art to admire, from the fine paintings exhibited in Tate Gallery North and Lady Lever Art Gallery to the sculptures of Another Place. These sculptures at Crosby beach stand out against the backdrop of the sea.
 
Walking
Hikers will enjoy walking the north west coast or heading south walking the seal spotted beaches on the Wirral.
