Pass Description

A BritRail Pass allows you to travel across the entire National Rail network of Great Britain.

Your Pass will be valid for travel in England, Wales and Scotland and comes in Flexible or Consecutive durations so you can hop on and off National Rail trains all day long.

Travel where you please, connect Britain’s capital cities Cardiff, Edinburgh and London, or just ride Britain’s most scenic lines.

  • Saver Pass (3 - 9 people travelling together)
  • Children under 5 Years old travel for free if not occupying a seat

  • 2 Days, 3 Days, 4 Days or 8 Days (valid within 1 month)
  • 15 Days (valid within 2 months)

Consecutive Passes (continuous travel)
  • 2 Days, 3 Days, 4 Days, 8 Days, 15 Days, 22 Days or 1 Month

Validity:
  • Unlimited travel on all National Rail services of Great Britain
  • Valid all day, including Peak Hours
  • Valid for use on Heathrow Express, Gatwick Express and Stansted Express (as part of a day's use)
  • Valid on Caledonian Sleeper and Night Riviera Sleeper (must book berth prior to travel)
  • Boundaries: Valid for travel in England, Wales and Scotland (See Map for details)

  • BritRail Passes are valid for travel on National Rail services only

    • Eurostar services
    • London Underground trains and buses
    • Tyne and Wear Metro
    • Manchester Metro Link
